Young Hands at work
Members of our community of all ages can get involved. Here are some examples of kids who are helping kids in need.
Girl Scouts: packing crews, inventory crew, food solicitations/donations, assembling hygiene kits and holiday treat bags, cookie donations
Boy Scouts: packing crews, donations, Eagle Scout projects; one scout put in a driveway and updated the Generous Hands kitchen
Kids Fore Kids Golf Outing: managed and run by kids raising money for Generous Hands
Community Service: teens have completed service hours by volunteering with Generous Hands
Back to School Bonanza: kids volunteer serving food, painting faces, playing games, setup, cleanup and distributing supplies
Kids-to-Kids Marketplace: donations
Girls on the Run: packing crews, food donations
Other ways school and church kids help kids: food drives, volunteer with the Fresh Food Initiative, and much more!
